They give you a free basic federal tax return and have other packages that start at $14.95 if you need a more detailed return.  You can also file your state taxes with a click of the mouse after you are done with your federal. They will also e-file your return for free so it gets to the IRS immediately and you don’t have to worry about the post office losing your return.

Complete Tax

Complete Tax is another online income tax software program you may want to consider.  They have a free filing option then you can upgrade if you need a more complex return filed.  If you need to add a state return, that is simple to do and costs $24.95.
